In a Colorado that continues to grow and change, Silverton remains one of the state's few truly authentic mountain towns. Surrounded by the rugged San Juan Mountains and shaped by its rich mining history, it has retained the character, pace, and sense of place that first drew people here more than a century ago. Historic buildings still line Greene Street, mountain peaks rise in every direction, and adventure begins just beyond town.

Built in the late 1800s, The Silverton Lodge has been part of Silverton's story for well over a century. It was once home to the San Juan Herald and the town's first printing press, and later served for many years as a working Masonic Lodge. Today, the building has been restored while preserving the historic character that makes it such a unique place to stay.
